Mordis and I are going to ride at the Beggs indoor arena tomorrow in the AM w/ Cary Merritt. Cary is bringing her filly up for a ride. I am just so stoked. Cary is one of those people who makes you feel very positive about everything and she has such a good karama to her. I love being around people like her! I can’t wait to see her filly, I have heard a lot about her and I think Cary has a great seat so I am very vey vey very excited to see this filly now and then again in 30 days. Megan Oglesby and Charger ran at the top of the 3-D tonight, WOO HOO!!! GO MEGAN GO! I am so proud for her Jackie is there for a clinic and I am really eager to see how they run when she leaves Jackie is such a great teacher!!! Mordis started Ulcer Guard today for Ulcer Prevention, we are threw with the Ulcer Paste 300 and I go to the Doctor Tuesday for my x-rays on foot/ankle and Mordis goes to scope to see how the ulcer is doing (hopefully it’s gone) if it isn’t we will put him back on the Ulcer Paste for 2 more weeks. (I think he is okay he looks SO much better and feels so much better! Ulcers are very very hard on horses) This weekend Kyle is running in Louisiana… But, he is coming here Friday to get his new Futurity Prospect he bought, she came from my father her name is Feet For The Dash (she is really nice).
Tip For The Day is for the People going to the BBR
BLEECH – You can use Bleach to disinfect your stalls before you move in. Take water and bleach and spray your walls down and the floor of the stall before you put your shavings in. Also DO NOT use the community wate hose, or leave your out to become the community water hose, some people will stick those hoeses into their buckets and their horse is sick… Then you use is and you have a sick horse who gets your other horses sick!!! So Bleach Your Stalls and Your Buckets and Don’t Share Hoses! That way you won’t come home with SICK horses!!!

People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the
end as to the beginning; Then there will be no failure.
