Silver Cup, here we come!

I am very excited about the Silver Cup. Mordis and I are doing fantastic. We went to The “OK Can Chasin” Jackpot in Henryetta on Saturday. Kyle made an amazing run on Biddies Fame. His run was perfect and the timer messed up he got a re-run and she did okay, not as good as the first run but she was a 14.8. I was very very PROUD of him! Mordis and I trotted 1/2 to the first and loped the pattern and we were 1 second off and drew a check in the 3-D. I was very excited when They called my name twice I drew check on Both Mordis and Cajun Bullion! I had never rode Cajun before, he was a lot of fun!

Mordis gets new shoes Tuesday and we are both going to the Chiro on Wednesday! So, we should be all lined out and ready for the Silver Cup!

Mordis and I have our new Ammerman! I am just so THANKFUL to have it. Carl does the most amazing JOB with his saddles and they are just georgeous! It fits like a glove!

I am just so excited about going to the Silver Cup. I have waited all year for this, and I am even more excited that I am going to get to ride Mordis. I have just had such a GREAT time lately, Mordis and I have a GREAT TIME! Waco went great and Henryetta went Great. I am just really having a lot of FUN running barrels. Kyle and I go and we have BLAST!

I am finishing a book called THE Ultimate Gift and it is GREAT! I hope that others will read it and it can touch their life like it has mine.

The Power of Positive Thought!

I had a Doctors appointment today, and I have GREAT news! I get to walk without my crutches now. Which is a BLESSING! I am limping a little, but as I walk more and I stretch everything back out I will not limp. I was told it would 6 months before I put any weight on it. I prayed and I refused believe 6 months. My goal was to WALK before the SpeedHorse Silver Cup, when I toldmy doctor that 4 months ago he asked when the Silver Cup was I told him Mrch 14th is when we move in. He smiled, and said he not to holdmy breath. Guess what – I AM WALKING and the SiLVER CUP IS in 2 WEEKS! My Doctor all along has said that I am healing at an amazing pace, this has been MIND over MATTER. I have been careful with my leg… But, I rode before I was supposed to, I walked around a little before I was supposed it. I believed in my heart that I was going to walk before the Silver Cup. I told my self that I would ride better and more agressive if I was walking. So I wanted to WALK before the Silver Cup… It’s all I thought about at times, was walking before the Silver Cup so that I would be able to ride 100% at the Silver Cup… Mordis deseves to be GREAT and I want to be 100% for him! So I prayed and thought about it. I even pictures my self walking up the ramp at Tulsa and guess what I AM GOING TO GET TO DO IT!!!!!!! (Thank you Lord for this amazing Blessing!)

Mordis is doing great, I am think we are going to try and goto Checotah on Tuesday night to exhibition slow and get ready for the Silver Cup. I have been so pleased with how well the Ulcer Paste worked for him he looks amazing! And is gaining weight and muscle everyday!
