Hey Everyone! I have been BUSY BUSY! I am here in Ruston La with Kyle. So, I am working working working. I have been riding horses and making a few jackpots. Mordis and I are really starting to pick things back up and get it together. My leg is doing a lot better and I am riding better! I love Mordis’ Ammerman. Carl did a wonderful job! It fits Mordis PERFECTLY, and it is pretty to boot!
Kyle and I ran at Farmerville La on Friday the 6th. Our Colts have never been out doors before, and they said WOW!!!!! Biddie went past her first just a little. Mordis fell to his knees on the 3rd and we loped out. Kyle also ran Streaker and hit the second and loped out to place in the 3-D.
We went the very next day (April 7th) to Vivian La again OUT DOORS and our COLTS handled that MUCH BETTER! Biddie was 2nd with a 16.6 in the 1-D and Mordis was 4th with a 16.8 both horses ran great Mordis could have been a little faster to the 1st, but he had the BEST 1st barrel he has had in a really long time and he could have been a little quicker around the 3rd but he made a great run. Biddie turned 3 beautiful barrels and cruised she looked GREAT!
We left Vivian and went straight to Marshall Tx (April 7th – LONG DAY FOR OUR Colts!) Biddie and Mordis both ran in the 2-D. They BOTH took a step off the 3rd but really made nice runs. Mordis turned his first and and was really ratey to the 2nd and 3rd. I should have pushed him a little harder, I know he would be ratey at Marshall because he ran Friday Night and Saturday in BIG Outdoor Pens and then Saturday Night at marshall he was backj indoors and the barrels are closer to the fence, but I just let him cruise lol…
Mordis and Biddie both ran in the 2-D against some really really tough horses. Bahama Bully won it (WHAT A NICE HORSE!!!!)
On April 14th Kyle and I went back to Marshall and Mordis ran 3rd in the 1-D and really made a good run, he had a few bobbles that cost us time. He was really tryting to run again, so that made me proud. Biddie was 5th in the 2-D and turned three GREAT barrels!!!!!!!!!! GO MS BIDDIE!
Kyle and I went to OLD SOUTH Saturday the 21st, that was a lot of fun and my dress was beautiful! I had my dress made by LadyFaire www.Lady-Faire.com and it fit perfectly and was really really pretty! I am just so sad that i won’t wear it again, well okay the hoops were a pain but the dress really was gorgeous! I will get photos up as soon as we get them back!
My Horse Chicos Dashin ran at Remington Park on Sunday the 22nd and Kyle and I went to Louisiana Downs to the Simulcast to watch him run. His first out in about 7 months and he ran really good! He didn’t place but he tried. I was very proud of him and I am ready to start him on barrels.
Kyle and I are searching high and low for 2 and 3 year olds. We are fixing to start going to Delta and Remington to claim a horse or two… I am so excited I will keep you updated as the new horses start to come in! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am like a kid in a candy store ~ WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!
